Tara
I wanted to test Peter to see if he guards toys.  So I kept Tara on short leash with me, and threw a toy to Peter.  He loved it and kept chewing it.  And when I took it away from him, he was very gentle and just let me take it.  I gave it back to him and he continued to play with it.  I gave a toy to Tara too to play at the same time because she was looking at Peter playing with her toy, but she wasnt much interested in the giraffe toy, but wanted the doggie one that Peter had.  Anyways, after 20 minutes, I took away both toys, it was just too hard to try to keep them away from each other while they are playing with toys, to try to prevent Tara from guarding her toys from Peter.
Tara has tested licking the Chew Stop from her paws, but has decided to stop licking them.  Wounds are finally healing slowly but nicely.
Tara and Peter continue to do well together without any further incidents.  Saturday afternoon I gave Peter a bath.  He was such a good boy, just stood in the tub while I bathed him, didnt even try to jump out.

This morning Peter and I left Auburn at 10:30 AM (Central Time).  He sat up to look around during half of the drive, but he was very good and stayed in the backseat, didnt even try to come to the front.  We got to Carols house at 1:45 PM (Easter Time).  Carol has a beautiful backyard that included a swimming pool and artificial streams and a fenced-in fish pond.  She said just let Peter go off leash, since the backyard is entirely fence-in, but I still kept a close watch on him as he walked around to explore.  Peter and also went up to Carol and enjoyed petting from her.  Then after about ten minutes, I put Peter back on leash, and Carol let two of her three dogs and foster dog (all Springers) out to meet Peter.  In the picture, the fieldie is Lizzie, and the other dog sniffing Peter is Reggie.  The little one behind the doggie door is Carols foster, Bonnie.  Carol put her Rottie (?) mix, Moe, in her Jeep during the visit, because originally Peter and I arrived at her house from the front entrance, and Carol said Moe thinks anybody coming to the front door is bad, because friends enter from the back.
Anyways, Peter growled for about two minutes as the dogs sniffed each other, but eventually he stopped growling and got along with the other Springers.  So Carol said I could probably let him off leash too.  I fed the dogs some of Peters treats and they liked that.  Bonnie was a little skittish but she also took treats from my hand.  We then all went inside to wait for Deirdre and Bryan.
Deirdre and Bryan and Annie and Davis arrived around 2 PM.  Peter kept his eyes on me mostly but went willingly to Bryan and Deirdre for petting.  I gave Annie a dog biscuit for her to give to Peter, Im sure Peter liked her right after that.  Davis didnt want to pet Peter at first, but it was okay.  I then went over Peters paperwork and things with Deirdre and Bryan.  Bryan said Peter is very handsome and they all think Peter is very sweet.
Before they left, Deirdre asked Davis again if he would like to give Peter and treat, and the little boy said yes.  Deirdre and her family reminds me of Lexis family, and it appears Peter will be well taken care of for the rest of his life just like Lexi is.
Deirdre emailed, Peter is doing great!  He's so sweet and has been great with the kids.  We are so excited for him to be part of our family.
