| Monday, August 28, 2006 I called the vet clinic this morning and told them I'll pick her up today. They said they'll miss her, and they received the faxed vet records. The vet tech from Friday and Saturday was there today also, and she said Bella has kept her cage very clean all weekend, and that she's a very good puppy. She had the vet records ready also. While waiting, I got one of the dog biscuit from the reception desk and just without thinking, I showed it to Bella and said Sit, to my surprise, she did! What a smart puppy! I took Bella out for short walk before getting her into my car. She peed outside on the grass. In my car, she was curious and looking around, I put a rubber bone in the backseat with her just in case (remembering Alfie). Bella chewed on the leash, but after I took it off, she started getting sleepy and was asleep by the time we got on the freeway. Bella didn't try to get into the front seat this time. |
When Angie saw Bella, she says Bella is very cute. Angie said she will take Bella directly to her vet to see what else Bella needs. | |||||||

| Angie praising Bella for doing it outside. Today and tomorrow I have to be away from home more than nine hours each day, so last night when I was walking Tara, I tested Peter with just leaving him in my bedroom, instead of crating him. He did fine last night for thirty minutes, I just left an open crate in the bedroom, marrow bone, blankets, and the radio on. This morning I left him in the bedroom for two hours while I went to school. He did fine also, nothing destroyed. When I went home for lunch and before picking up Bella, I took them out for potty and left Peter in the crate. |

| One very funny thing is that she likes to take both front feet and play in the water dish. It is very cute but my eat-in kitchen area is now a slip and slide. Ha ha. | ||||||||

| She is a wild and crazy girl but even in her puppy ADD listens pretty good. I am pleasantly surprised. She is worrying Dede (Dede is Angies 11-year-old rescued Springer) to death for play but Dede is gently letting her know when is enough. She did chase Kramer behind the washer and he is in a separate room now but when I held Kramer down close to her and he hissed and swatted she backed away. It will take a few days but I think they will be ok. | ||||||||
