Sally
Oscar: Meet Sally Katt, aka smelly cat.  Sal is from the school shelter.  When auntie came by in mid September, she noticed Sally was really skinny.  She had lost a lot of weight really quickly.  I think Sally is ugly.  Oh wait, actually my Cousin Anastasia can have a companion, Sally, to compete with her for the most ugly cat in the world trophy now!  I cant believe I have to share stuff with her.  By the way, ugly cat is hyperthyroid, which means she is on special medication.  Here are some statistics about Sally, hope you enjoy.
Name: Sally Katt
Age: At least 15 years
Weight: 5 pounds, September 19, 2005
Weight: 5.2 pounds, September 26, 2005
Color: Black and White
Favorite to Sleep: MY igloo!!!
Food: Science Diet A/D, Senior Diet, baby food, and California Natural
Oscar: Sally home with mommie.  Mommie actually got Sally on September 15, 2005.  Auntie had left the day before.  The shelters vet had already given up on Sally and wanted to put her to sleep on September 17, but mommie decided to take her home for a week and see.  Mommie suspected that Sal wasnt getting her meds on time, which affected her eating a lot.
Oscar: This is when Sally was still at the shelter.  The cat tree thing is from mommie.  Mommie had reupholstered it the summer before, I believe.
Oscar: Mommie took Sally to see my vet on September 19.  My vet said Sal is too happy and mobile to be put to sleep.  She purrs a lot when held.  She likes to be wrapped up in a blanket and sleep on mommies chest.  I got so upset when I saw that, considering that is MY special spot.  No one can have MY mommie, I am supposed to be an only child and have all the things I ever wanted.  So my vet said to wait a week and see how Sal is doing.
Oscar: At first, Sally just slept a lot, which was fine by me.  Then she started to get cranky and wanted to come out.  I dont think this is fair, considering this is MY home, and I get to say what goes around here even if I never gave my permission to bring another cat home.
Oscar: Here is ME really mad at mommie that I decided to sleep in my carrier.  This happens quit a lot now since I am mad mommie is not paying her full attention to me anymore.  I will have to share my stuff, which I never had to do before.  Sally has taken over my igloo too, right now I am trying to get auntie to make me another one since I dont want one that is used.
Oscar: Well, what do you know, smelly cat got even smellier when she ate Science Diet Kitten formula.  She actually pooped all over her blanket in the cage when she had diarrhea on September 23, 2005.  The funny thing was, she meowed to ask mommie to get her so she wouldnt get any poop on herself.  She did get some poop on her feet and tail, which mommie managed to get off after giving her a mini bath.  But otherwise, she was really clean since it was on her blankie, and not on her.
Oscar: It was really hot for a few days, so Sally started sleeping outside of the igloo.  You can sort of see the igloo right by her hind legs.  She is now around 6lbs as of today, October 10, 2005, so that makes her a chunky cat just like me.  At least chunk in the tummy areas.

October 10, 2005
Oscar: Oh yea, last night when mommie was watching her skating videos.  Sally walked down the stairs and sat on the steps and watched mommie watching her skating videos.  I can't believe what a brown-nose cat she is.  She thinks by watching the videos with mommie will make mommie want to keep her.  We all know that is not going to happen.  We keep whatever animals I say so in this household, otherwise, out they go.  So once I realized what Sally is doing, I run downstairs and joined mommie in her skating video time.  I have to let mommie think I like watching them too, so she will think I am a wonderful cat.
Oscar: Busted!  Got you, you sleeping in MY igloo!  I can't believe mommie would let you.  I will have to speak to auntie about making me a new one.  As we all know a princess doesn't take used items, so this igloo is now considered used, I will have to get a new one, preferably one with my face all over it!  By the way, just in case you are wondering this is the first spot Smelly Cat hits once she gets let out of the cage each day.  She thinks this is hers, yea right!
