February 25, 2007 Oscar: Mommie is going to be gone for 3 days, leaving the 3 of us alone by ourselves. Mimi, of course, will be staying in the cage unless auntie Sanda comes and lets him out. Cookie and I will have the run of the place. Mommie will get to see my cousins Anastasia and Tara. I am not too thrills about mommie seeing Anastasia. Anastasia will get all her yucky germs over mommie and all of mommies stuff as well. And the germs will come home with mommie. YUCK! February 27, 2007 Oscar: Mommie came home late tonight. Auntie Sanda picked her up from the airport. While auntie Sanda was here, she picked up MiKi and took them home. Mommie said she will have to do massive cleaning and hopefully that will get rid of Mimis smell. It is nice being an only child again, the one that doesnt make a mess and is always perfect. By the way, Cookie also copies Mimi and urinates on the floor. Yes, Cookie the copycat!

Oscar: I went to visit MiKi at their own home. Here is Cookie trying on my Valentine hearts costume. March 2, 2007 Oscar: Mommie is mine, and mine only! By the way, Mimi has peed on some of the weirdest things including a box of clippings mommie got in the mail from her skating friend in Chicago. It is a good thing only some of the clipping got Mimi germs; the rest of the clippings were ok. Mommie said Mimi should be glad he isnt over here, or she would shove his butt into the microwave right now. Mommie also did massive cleaning including mopping the floor and laundry. So at least except the clipping, we are Mimi smell free as of this moment. That is, unless mommie finds something else Mimi urinated on while he was here.

Oscar: Cookie in her normal bumble bee costume. March 2, 2007 Oscar: By the way, I give my loveable foam filled doggie bed to Tara. The doggie bed was a gift to me from Penelope. Now I have given it to Tara as a welcome into our family. Except the stupid cat, aka cousin Anastasia, has taken over it and refuse to let the dog sleep in it. Seriously, the dog should smack cousin Anastasia when auntie isnt looking.

Oscar: me wearing one of MiKi's costumes. The lion head in case you can't tell. Auntie Sanda was so excited to see me wearing it. March 17, 2007 Oscar: Due to circumstances, I will be living with auntie for a period of time. Mommie hopes she will get me back one of those days later in the future. So today mommie and I left our home at 6:30am to start driving to aunties place. The drive was very long; we only stopped 3-4 times to get gas or to stretch our legs. I slept either on top of the foam pad aka igloo bottom, under the seat, or in my car seat. I was pretty good the whole way. We didnt get to our destination which is El Paso, Texas until close to 7:30pm. Mommie was tired, but she still went out and got something to eat after she got all the stuff in.

March 18, 2007 Oscar: Mommie was lazy today so we didnt leave until 9am. Funny thing was that every time the phone ring during the drive, usually auntie-calling mommie, I would wake up from my nap and meows. Mommie calls me her voice-activated toy. We did hit closed freeway, which means there was just one lane of freeway for everyone. So the 7-hour drive turned into 10. We didnt get to Dallas, Texas until about 8:30pm. Mommie then went out to get some Braums Ice Cream. If you ever had Braums you would know why mommie went there. The 2 big scoops of ice cream were pretty cheap too. Mommie just ate her ice cream for dinner. Oh yea, mommie was a dummy too; she didnt recharge her phone, so her phone was running out of juice during the drive. Mommie ended up turning the phone off to conserve battery until we got to Dallas.

March 19, 2007 Oscar: Mommie finally had a good nights sleep and she didnt get up until close to 9am. She then had breakfast at the downstairs breakfast place eating Texas shaped waffles! We finally left at 10am, and auntie told us this would be a 12-hour drive. We were doing pretty well too, got to Louisiana-Texas border around noon. By the way, we only stopped 2 times on this trip to get gas. We got to the Louisiana-Mississippi border around 2pm or so. Mommie thought the big bridge over the Mississippi river was so neat, and the riverboat reminds mommie of the one in Taras picture from Chattanooga, TN. After much more driving, we got to outside of Birmingham, AL area around 7pm or so. By that time, auntie pretty much knew where exactly mommie was, and was calling mommie around the time mommie changes freeway each time. We finally got to aunties town about 9:30pm. Mommie stopped by Arbys to get some stuff to eat before heading to aunties place. So we finally got to aunties about 10pm.

March 22, 2007 Oscar: Mommie flew back home today leaving me with auntie, Tara, and smelly old mole rat Anastasia. I also have my two fish cousins for companion. Mommie told me to be a good girl listen to auntie and ignore my smelly mole rat cousin since Anastasia never up to any good when it is regarding me. Oscar: Anastasia eyeing me through the baby gate... note the gigantic fur ball's butt!
