Oscar: Auntie Sanda came by to visit us. Auntie Sanda and mommie had planned to meet and hang out before auntie Sanda starts school. So mommie took auntie Sanda to downtown to see all the crazy people sleeping on the streets waiting for the 2007 Rose Parade. This was auntie Sanda�s first time seeing something like this, she was quite interested.
Oscar: Then mommie proposed to go to a famous fried chicken and waffle restaurant recommended by a few people. Apparently the food was really good� of course I didn�t get any as always. Auntie Sanda asked mommie to give her description so here it goes: the fried chicken is crisp even though it was smothered with lots of gravy. The chicken itself has flavor too, seems like the chicken was marinated/seasoned before it was fried. The gravy was a bit on the salt side though. The gravy was cooked with onions and seasoning. Now onto the waffle taste review, the waffle is very tasty, not salty or sweet. The syrup was very good, not just regular bottled sugar syrup. The portion was huge though. Auntie Sanda and mommie put an order of � chicken and 2 waffles, the order fed both of them to full.
Oscar: After Roscoe�s, auntie Sanda drove back to visit with me! She even brought me some nice chicken treat cat food as well. I was really nice to her, I watched her with all my might until she give me the chicken treat. Right after I finished eating, I went to sit on my window seat to do my own business. Auntie Sanda got to see my natural behavior here at home today, she also saw my wardrobe as well.
Oscar: Well, mommie finally got sick so she ended up getting a portable heater this time. All I can say is she should have done that a while ago. Now rather than sleeping under the blankets, I park my behind in front of the heater. So I would sleep with the warm air blowing toward me make myself all warm and fuzzy.
Oscar: Usually at night when it is cold, I will curl up with the heating pad under the cover on mommie�s bed. Well, when she is ready for bed, she will kick me out and curl up in the spot I had just warmed up for myself. Last night when she did that again, I protested by meowing to let her know I don�t think that is fair she was taking my warmed up spot! But she still kicked me out anyway. Let�s all tell mommie she isn�t being nice to the little princess here, and she should go warm up her own spot.
Oscar: Guess whom mommie got to hold today? Mimi! Yep, the day finally came even my rump roast black cat cousin Mimi couldn�t escape mommie�s hugs. Basically mommie had gone to visit auntie Sanda to do a few things. Then because the day was so nice, auntie Sanda and mommie got to take the kitties out to the park. Mommie got to hold Mimi the whole time while they were in the park since Mimi gets really skittish when he is out. So mommie got to hold him and squeeze his rumpy butt while he sat perfectly still. I wish I could have been there, it would have been nice to see Mimi not trying to touch me every time I see him.
