Oscar: Mommie also stopped by to get some Aebleskiever, which is a famous Danish dessert. It was topped with raspberry jam and powdered sugar. We walked around a little bit and saw tons of people.
Oscar: We also stopped by the beach. The smoke from the fire was all the way out by the beach. The sky had this grayish smoky cloud that usually wasn�t there.
Oscar: Who says you can�t meet a celebrity on your flight! Mommie has to fly to Miami and guess who mommie saw at the airport terminal? Meg Cabot! Mommie saw someone wearing pink cowboy boots at the airport terminal right before she was going to sit down. So mommie looked up and realized it was Meg Cabot! Mommie was really excited and called auntie to tell her all about it. This of course made up for the fact it took mommie one hour to check in (yes, exactly one hour!) I didn�t get to go on this trip since it was so short. But from what mommie said, Meg was really nice when Mommie finally approached her and handed Meg a card that mommie had forgotten to gave to Meg at her signing a few days ago. Meg was really surprised anyone recognized her. Meg was finishing her book tour in Miami and happened to be on the same flight as mommie. Anyway, Meg flew first class with her pink iPOD while mommie was in the back regular seats. According to Meg�s online blog, Adrian Grenier, the guy who played the boyfriend in the new movie The Devil Wears Prada, was also on the same flight! So people, don�t be so shocked when you see a celebrity/famous author on your flight next time! Of course if anyone sees me on their flight, they should feel like royalty has just touched them!
