Oscar

Oscar: So what I have weird habits, everyone does.  Just because mommie caught me sitting on top of the toilet (with the lid down of course) starring at the blank white wall doesnt mean I am nuts.  I was practicing my thinking ability.  Havent you ever heard of a statue called The Thinker by Auguste Rodin?
Oscar: A little hard to see, but mommie was trying to get a photo record of a patch of my fur slowing going white.  I am not getting old.  I am just getting older and wiser!
Oscar: Mommie and her friends went to the beach to fly kites!  Lots and lots of kites.

Oscar: I just heard from auntie that someone decided to name their tuxedo cat after me!  Well, sort of.  Basically someone got a new tuxedo cat, and decided to name it Oscar.  How neat is that!  Now we have an Oscar junior!  But I will always be the original, the first, and the only cutest Oscar ever.  Oh yea, the picture showed lots of people at the beach.  Shouldn't be surprising, it was really hot here!

Crunch Crunch
Oscar: You must be curious what happened today.  Mommie was in bed already and I was sleeping next to her.  About 10 minutes later, she heard this crunch crunch noise and I was standing next to the bed by the TV.  She couldnt figure out why I was making that noise.  She figured I was probably playing with a cricket again like I have been doing this whole month.  We have been getting a lot of cricket indoor this month.  Anyway, mommie later found two cricket legs by where I was making the crunch crunch sound.  Mommie told me I was disgusting, because I must have eaten another cricket again and left the two legs as evidence!  YUM!  This is my daily extra dose of protein from the cricket.  By the way, the photo is one of the kites mommie and her friends flew.

Oscar: Since mommie was in town, she had to go in to the cat shelter.  Mommie had dropped some stuff off for Edie for the raffle.  Just little things mommie found and a cat pad auntie had made.  Mommie got to the shelter and was told there were about 50 cats there!  Apparently during the summer, the local animal place had to put down 20 cats due to lack of space, so Edie decided to take all of them in.  There were just cats everywhere!  Some of them were on the couch, some in the cat trees, and some in the new sun patio space they just put in!  Mommie counted; there were about 5-6 tuxedo cats!  One of them was supposedly really cute (yea right!).  There was even one that look like my cousin Anastasias sibling, a Siamese!

Oscar: Mommie had to make a trip up to central CA area to do some stuff, so there we went.  Mommie stopped by her friends house to drop me off.  I got to stay there during the day while mommie did her rounds of stuff in the area.  Mommie went by school to drop some stuff off.  The new building at school is really coming along nicely.  There are bunch of constructions going on for new buildings.
