Oscar: My life with my cousins Tara and Anastasia just about to get more interesting with some guests visiting this month...

Oscar: Auntie told my Samson, the Bassett Hound will be staying with us this weekend.  I hope I can convince him that we need to put our power and minds together in order to stuff my ugly mole rat cousin Anastasia into the toilet.

Oscar: Well, I guess I am much more interesting to Samson than Anastasia was before.  I waited for Samson to come yesterday.  I sat by the door so the first animal he saw when he walked in was me!  Samson followed me around while he was here for the weekend.  I cant quite convince him to help me stuff Anastasia down the toilet yet.

Oscar: So yesterday was the first time I showed Anastasia who is the boss in this house.  I was sleeping inside the blankets with auntie when mole rat cousin showed up.  I refused to leave, so Anastasia had no choice but to find her own sleeping spot for the night. Ah Hahaha!

Oscar: Auntie was helping with other peoples pet photo few weeks ago so we missed our opportunity to take our photos with Santa.  But auntie saw an ad about Santa and pets photo in the mall so she took us there today.  Auntie only brought Tara and me this time.  Auntie said Anastasia already had her photo with Tara last year.  I got to say I was pretty good.  I only meowed a few times while I had to wait inside the backpack carrier.  And then the Pomeranians behind us barked at me when they saw me.  It only took a few tries to get a good shot of Tara and me.  See, if you have photogenic pets, it is easy to get good photos!  They also give us some pet treats.  I gobbled my share down as soon as we got back to autnties place.

Oscar: Pss, guess how many animals are in this household for the holiday season? Six, did you guess right?  The ones here are the usual four of us, Tara, Anastasia the mole rat, Sherlock the fish, and me the most adorable tux.  The two visiting animals are Jake and Gracie.  Jake is aunties previous foster now lives in Birmingham.  His parents decide to abandon him for the holiday so he came to stay with us.  Gracie is going to her adoptive home, but they havent come back yet so she is here too.  I had so much fun messing with the dog.  Oops, did I say that?  I mean try to understand dogs.
Oscar: Jake came first; he was very interested in me.  When he came into the apartment, I sat right by the door to let him know who is the boss here.  I did manage to mess with Jake enough before Gracie came.  I would stare at him, and follow him in a distance so he has no reason to touch me.  So if Jake tried to touch me, I can cry for help to auntie as I never touched him.  I think Jake was frustrated since there is a cat that is more interested in him than he is interested in the cat.
Oscar: I want to mention that I do know how to use my pretty little paws to flip up the blankets and sleep underneath it.  I usually do that when it gets cold in the winter time.  However, my ugly mole rat cousin Anastasia doesnt know how to do that for some reason.  I found that auntie will flip up the blankets for Anastasia.  So recently, I have begun refusing to flip up the blankets as well just to see if auntie will flip them for me.  And yes, I have auntie under my pretty little paws auntie flips up the blankets for me as well.  Shh, don't tell auntie!
Oscar: Scratch, scratch, I must keep my nails sharp and trimmed so I can be prepared to attack the dogs that are visiting this holiday.
Oscar: Also, auntie got out her portable heater since it got cold here.  Well, I have to take advantage of the extra heat so I lay right in front of the heater here.  Ahhhhh, I feel so great with the warm heat blowing on my tiny tuxedo body.
