Oscar: Mommie got in Jessica�s home, and started calling Louie�s name. You can just see Louie started backing up, going the other direction! Mommie kept calling Louie and tried to pet him. But he just keeps going the other direction. Finally, Louie run underneath the kitchen table and sat that for a little bit. Mommie didn�t want to push Louie into coming by, so she just let him be. After mommie walked away, Louie walked into the kitchen where Louie�s grandma�s boyfriend picked him up and handed him to mommie. So mommie got to held Louie and squeezed him calling him Chunky Monkey. Louie didn�t struggle though; he just let mommie hold him. Jessica, Louie�s mom, also showed mommie the new kitten, a black cat about 3-4 pounds named Mustard. Mustard is a rescue cat from the cat shelter too. Mustard�s brother had died a while ago at the shelter, so Jessica decided to keep Mustard. Anyway, Louie doesn�t like to be held, so mommie let him go. After that, he was more or less willing to let mommie touching him.
Oscar: After a few pictures, Louie lay down next to the bookcase trying to ignore mommie. Jessica said it is probably because Louie isn�t allowed outside tonight since mommie was coming, that Louie acted depressed and all weird. I just want to say that I think Louie thinks he is going home with mommie. Like that will ever happen, I won�t allow that kind of thing happening to me, I am an only cat! Mommie asked about Louie. Jessica said that they just sewed the right eye (the originally cloudy one) shut. You really can�t tell since Louie had the small eye anyway. Also Jessica commented Louie would bring home all sorts of �presents.� Things such as a half live lizard, half live bird, a rabbit without a head, some rats, mice etc. Apparently is up to his old ways trying to catch wild animals like when he was living outside before mommie go him. I really don�t get this, considering he has all the food he wants, why would he try to get those hard to catch dirty outside animals? Oh Jessica mentioned that a few months back, they found an abscess on Louie�s back. So they had to take Louie in to the vet. Louie got it all fixed up and had some doses of antibiotics as well. Louie is an inside-outside cat while Mustard is indoor cat only.
Oscar: After awhile, Louie lay down next to the cat scratching posts. Mustard came by and wanted to hit Louie with his tiny paws. While Mustard trying to prance on Louie, Louie just raised his paw to bat Mustard. It was quite interesting to see Louie just ignores Mustard while Mustard tries to play with Louie. Mommie finally headed out the door about 7:10pm. While sitting in the car looking at the map, mommie heard this �thud� on her car. She looked up and saw Louie standing right on top of the front hood of the car! Louie acted like nothing happened. Mommie tried to get a picture, but as soon as mommie opened the door, Louie runs off. Mommie did get a picture of Louie standing outside though.
Update from Louie�s mom, �Louie and Mustard are doing great. I've attached some pictures of them that my mom sent to me. I moved to Oakland in January for a job, but they are both very happy with my mom.
I've started fostering cats for a program up here. It's going very well so far!�
