Then we took Lexi outside so Heather could see how she reacts outside. Lexi and Chloe, Heather's submissive demo dog, who stayed in Heathers car while we were inside the house. Lexi gave Chloe a couple barks when they first met, but Chloe turned her back to show that shes not a threat, and Lexi calmed down. |

Lexis crate. Its huge. Lori said they got a new bed from Petco and its upstairs in their room, where Lexi sleeps. But she thinks the bed that came with Lexi is pretty nice too and they are using that one for Lexis crate. |

Lori asked one of her neighbors to show how Lexi behaves around other dogs. Lexi and Sophie, neighbor's untrained Pug who barked several times. Lori said Lexis okay with some dogs, but she and Sophie just dont seem to get along. Lexis actually pretty calm around Sophie (maybe its just that Im more used to Brennas pulling and barking and growling). She didnt even bark until Sophie, who was not leashed at first, came charging at Lexi. And even then Lexi just gave one bark, didnt even step forward or pull on the leash. Heather said Lexi barked out of fear, and that Lexis dog issues is not a big deal, even if Lori doesnt do anything about it, Lexi will still live a happy life, not like Brenna, who would fight if she has to. Heather suggested desensitization/counter-conditioning with positive reinforcement methods just like what Im doing with Brenna. |

Some neighborhood kids also came over to pet the two Springers. |

Lori and I went back to the house to pet Lexi more. Here is Lexi with the new giraffe toy I got her. It has a grunter inside, just like her old mallard toy. Lexi follows Lori around a lot more than she did with me. It definitely seems like Lexis attached to her mom. |

While Heather was training Sophie, Lexi got bored and went to take a nap. Then Heather left to give another puppy training lesson at her boss house. |

Lexi at her favorite spot on the couch. Lori said its the favorite spot of all three Springers theyve had. |
