Jake
Jake and Bonnie and I. We also went to the tennis court so the dogs could have a big enclosed space to run around.  They didn't play together there either, besides, I think it was getting too hot.  Then we went to the local pet supply store to look around.  Jake was very nice towards all the dogs and cats we saw there.  The store owner even commented that last time she saw Jake, it was like a tug-of-war with me, but this time he's so good on Gentle Leader.  Jake peed on a dog pajamas, so I had to buy that.  We also weighed the two dogs at the store.  Jake now weighs 54.5 lbs.  So I guess he gained back a couple lbs in the last few days.  I think Jake enjoyed having a girl friend around (I think Bonnie is the dominant of the two, just slightly), and he just loved petting from Janet.

When we were at Kiesel Park, Jake wanted to get into the pond, but I wouldn't let him, because it's standing water and there might be lots of harmful bacteria in there.  But I think he would love it if he gets to play with water at his adoptive home.
When Janet and Bonnie were here, Jake didn't guard his blue fish toy from Bonnie.  I think he might get along better with female dogs.
I was watching TV and they were showing how they trained owls, with whistling.  Jake's ears immediately perked up when he heard the whistle sounds.  I think he might've been trained with whistling (hunting wise).  I don't know how to whistle, so I can't whistle-train him.
Jake enjoying the all-natural meatball treats that Janet gave him.
Jake eating a huge pig ear.

I took Jake on another campus walk.
Jake needs a home that can exercise him a lot everyday. Preferably at least one-mile off property leashed walking, plus 30 minutes of fetch. As of right now I still would not recommend him going to a home with toddlers. Sometimes he's so exuberant that I would worry he might knock them over. Jake has no problem drinking water out of toilet (he did it when I was standing right next to him), so they would have to remember to leave the seat cover down. I took Jake to the pool area (fenced in) to play fetch, and several times he wanted to go into the water. I'm not going to let him go in unless the neighbor lets his Golden in there already.
