| Jake sleeping on my bed. He was very polite, and the first time he would not get on my bed until I invited him on. Later when I wasnt on the bed, he would get on by himself. But if I were on it, then he would usually wait and look at me, to ask for permission first. What a gentleman! | ||||||||||||||

| Sunday, December 23, 2007 I took Jake to the dog park yesterday afternoon. When he rides in the car, when I just had the window cracked open, he would stuff his nose in the opening. When I roll the window down more, he likes to stick his head out. When we got to the dog park, he seemed to remember the park, and was very excited. We walked up to the new fenced in area, and after I let him off leash, he ran around in it for about ten minutes, checking the area out. |

| There was nobody else there. I thought I'd let him run around, while I scanned and picked up poop. | ||||||||||||||

| After about ten minutes, Jake had found two tennis balls (there were about 10 scattered all over the 2 acres), and dropped them near my feet as I was picking up poo. I ignored him at first, but he was persistent. | ||||||||||||||

| He picked up the balls and followed me around, and the next time I bent down again to pick up another poo, he nudged me and dropped the ball at my feet again, and I gave in and threw the ball for him. We stayed at the dog park for about an hour and then walked the rest of the 1-mile trail. He pooped at the dog park twice but none last night or this morning. No problem with eating. | ||||||||||||||
| Jake was tired and napped after we got back home. Right now whenever Taras on the bed, or trying to get on the bed, I would tell Jake off. Im still not comfortable having another dog on the bed with Tara. And so far Jake has been very good jumping off the bed whenever I told him to. | ||||||||||||||
