Jake
Jake was very excited and sniffed around.  Since it was a Sunday morning, there werent a lot of people there, but we did pass by three dogs being walked at the park.  Luckily Jake didnt try to mark on the columns.
Jake wanted to jump into the water.
There were lots of ducks and geese near the lake, but Jake didnt pay much attention to them.  However he did chase after the squirrels.
I also made Ben a belly band, here is Ben trying it out.  Janet also showed me a video of her and Cricket, her former foster dog, on TV being interviewed as the local humane societys foster mom and dog.
Later, we first drove to Heathers house to get a no-jump harness from Heather, for Janets foster Springer, Ben, and for me to give Heather some of Brennas doggie cake.  Then we stopped by Janets house to drop off all the doggie stuff.  Janet and Ben were walking outside as we pulled up her driveway.  Janet said she wanted to exercise Ben so he would be calmer when she brought him into the house later.  Then Janet brought Ben inside, put her own Spaniels, Bonnie (Springer) and Boo (Cocker), into her bedroom, and then Jake and Anastasia and I went into her livingroom.  Here is Jake meeting Ben.  Ben has lived all his previous life outside, and Janets training him to live inside, including potty training.  Ben likes to mark everything, so hes wearing a belly band (male doggie diaper) that Janet made so he wouldnt piddle all over the house before she catches him doing it.  The boys got along fine, pretty much ignored each other actually.
Janet put Bonnie and Boo back into her bedroom, and we took Anastasia, Jake, and Ben outside, so they could meet Hunter, the GSD, who was kept in Janets sons room.  Here is Ben sniffing Hunter sniffing Jake.  The three male dogs got along as well.
Then I asked Janet to let Jake to see Bonnie and Boo.  I put Anastasia back into the carrier.  The dogs were running around in the house sniffing each other, but three male dogs and Bonnie got along just fine.  Janet gave some doggie cake to her dogs.  I wanted a to take a picture of them eating the cake, but they were so fast, gulping the whole piece down with just one bite.  Even Ben loved the cake, and Janet said hes usually a little picky about his food.  Jake, Bonnie, and Boo were in the kitchen trying to get a piece of the cake, and Jake marked on Janets fridge.  Ben was a little afraid of going into the kitchen (hes not used to shiny floors), but Janet were able to slowly entice Ben all the way into the middle of the kitchen with some doggie cake (with me trying to hold on to the other dogs so they couldnt get to the cake, it was a pretty funny scene, all the dogs were crazy about the cake).
