Jake
Chloe didn't play in the water; Heather said Chloe doesn't like the kiddie pool because she associates it with bath time.  But Chloe did sit near the faucet and sprayed by water mists that were coming out of the connection between the faucet and the water hose.  Then the mosquitoes started coming out, so we started to getting ready to leave.  We got to meet four new foster dogs who just got transported from Tennessee (Brenna's dad helped with the TN part of the transport).  Jake was fine with all the dogs, even when the dad dog growled at him for getting too close to his puppies.  In the car driving back, it started raining really hard.  Several time I had to stop for a brief second on the freeway because I couldn't see the white lines on the road.  Jake got a little nervous with all the thundering and lightening (I think part of it, he picked up my nervous emotion), and he stuck his head into the front seat, trying to get to me.  I told him to Sit back down in the backseat, which he did, and I turned up the radio as loud as I could stand it, trying to block out the thunder.  That was the only time he has ever tried to get into the front seat.  He does get a little nervous during a severe T-storm (definitely NOT a panic attack), and I have no problem getting him to calm down within a few minutes.  It took us two hours to drive through Atlanta area with the storm, but the rain stopped after we passed the airport area.  Jake slept very well last night.
Jake and his prizes for passing the CGC test: Hoola hoop and treats from Sandy and Xalina.  They also teach jumping through hoop in their CGC class (Jake and I were not there when they taught that), as preparation for the Trick Class and for entertaining people if the dogs go on to be therapy dogs.  And the flower toy from Heather.
Jake relaxing in the morning sun.
Brennas parents sent Jake some toys and treats for passing the CGC test.
