Dudley
Hayden came and got in on things.  They were so sweet and cute and Dudley just sat there calmly as usual.  They just love him so much.  I cant imagine many dogs lying there getting covered up and kids crawling all over them and just staying still!
We are going to Asheville on Thursday morning to my brother and sister in laws house for a big extended family dinner.  Justins Aunt, Uncle and cousins we rarely get to see will be there, so it should be fun.  Were spending our first night in a hotel with the kids (since there is too much family for one house) so hopefully well all make it through with some sleep!

Avery likes to play fetch now with Dudley and every time hed run and get the Frisbee shed clap and say YAAAAAY!

We are doing ok and adjusting.  There are still times I forget and am waiting for him to jump up on the bed with me.  Hayden misses him and is sweet.  He says little prayers to him about how much he loved him and misses him.

Here are some pictures from the other night.  Weve had great weather and have been able to enjoy our fireplace and porch a lot the last week.
She had so much fun (although she did get frustrated when he wont let go of it!)!
The last picture is of Dudley taking a nap after all his hard work!

We have some sad news here, Milo died last night.  He was acting really weird the day before yesterday and we took him to the vet yesterday and he was really sick.  Very low temperature and trouble breathing and with blood work found out he was having kidney and liver issues.  We took him to the pet ER to spend the night and keep getting IVs and over night they did an xray because he never peed all the fluid out, and it showed the fluid all in his abdomen.  So he was either having fully kidney failure, or heart failure causing organ failure, or even maybe cancer causing the failure.  They couldnt tell about the cancer with the fluid obscuring the xray.  So his prognosis was very very grim and we decided the best thing was to just put him to sleep.  So we had a horrible night.  We got him my first year in law school before we were married, 11 years ago.  I still just cant believe hes gone.
So we are very sad and still kind of in shock.  We have a busy weekend with houseguests and Haydens 4th birthday party is tomorrow, so well have some nice activities to keep our minds off things.
Milo will be very very missed.  He was a really good kitty.
