| Sunday, November 14, 2004 We left Auburn thirty minutes extra early on Saturday morning, so we could stop by the East Cobb Park near the dog school in Atlanta, so Mercy could stretch her legs and get some exercise before the test. We actually ran into another dog and his owner who are in our class while we were in the park. |
I got her a Gentle Leader on Friday when we went to the pet supply store, because the one from the trainer last week seemed like it had been used by more than 100 dogs and it left a smudge mark on Mercys muzzle. Mercy did paw at her Gentle Leader, but she passed the test with no problem. | |||||||

| Here is Sandy, the other instructor of the class, and she's marking the score sheets. Everybody passed! | ||||||||

| After CGC testing, they gave each dog a bag of treats and a hula hoop (for the jump-through trick, we weren't there for that class when they taught it) as presents, and I got her a Christmas toy, chew treat, and canned food at a store near the training school as part of reward for passing the test. | ||||||||

| We go the bee toy last week at the same store after class as reward. The bee toy has a small duck whistle in it that makes sort of bee sound. But Mercy bit on it so much that it doesnt work anymore after a couple days. She goes through squeak toys pretty fast, about one a week, because she bites on them so often. | ||||||||
