Brenna
All four horses.
The other two is one of Michelle's piano students playing "soccer" with Brenna (gotta get a picture of Brenna in there somewhere!).  It's great to be back to "digital land"!!!

OK, so is taking 58 pictures in 10 minutes considered a bit obsessive???
I controlled the urge all day to NOT get the new camera out because I had so many other things to do.... but then the dang horses came to our part of the yard and Brenna and Duke, James, Michelle, and I started petting them and the my trigger finger wouldn't let off of the shutter button!!! To be fair about it, I also put it in "Sports Action" mode where it will take 3 pictures per second and followed Brenna and Duke around as they played and got some great action shots.
I have to just stop the madness!!! I keep putting the camera away, but then something else happens and I see the "Kodak Moment" in it and yank the camera back out of the bag. I'm up to 146 pictures in only about 3 hours time of having the camera! Of course, I have gone nearly two whole months without a working camera, so I feel I have some catching up to do.
So attached is another picture of, again, a cropped image of my Eastern
Bluebird family (the male daddy) taken with the 300mm (again, no tripod, just resting on my fence!), they have 5 eggs waiting to be hatched (that picture taken with the 18-55mm, but it focused on the straw nest and not the eggs). I go out to check the box about a dozen times a day waiting to see if the eggs have hatched, and as I approach the box I start talking and the momma just pops her head up to let me know she is there and I turn away and come back later!  Soon, on to my real passion... pictures taken through my telescopes!

The new horses are very well looked after and very nice and sociable. Brenna is finally getting used to them in her part of the back yard without barking at them... almost!
I figured you would enjoy (Michelle) the equestrian. She used to be scared to get near the horses, but this made her night!
