| Attached are some other pictures of when Precious first came over to our yard to visit Brenna. Also is a picture of what she loves to do most, curl up on a towel on our back porch! | ||||||||
| They soon ran around together and then we took them outside where they were such a hoot to watch! It was too dark to take pictures, so I'll have to wait to get some action shots another day. | ||||||||
| Sunday, April 13, 2008 Well, the Brenna-Precious Reality Show has been such a hoot. Precious is one of the SWEEEEEEETEST cats I've ever met! I would have never guessed my heart could be so taken by a feline. Just this morning while I was sleeping she was sitting next to my face and started gently stroking my mustache. She is so affectionate and just took to us like we were her long lost best friends, even Brenna. She CONSTANTLY uses Brenna's butt as a pillow. |

| Tuesday, April 8, 2008 So Brenna has taken Precious in under her wings... literally! We picked up our new member of our "pack" from the vet yesterday, so that was Precious's first night in our house. Come bed time, Brenna hopped in her bed as usual and then Precious curled up right next to her. Brenna didn't mind one bit! Of course that is why we adopted Precious, because Brenna (and Michelle) had gotten very attached to each other. So I want to ask, did Brenna and your cat(s) or Anastasia ever sleep together? I was wondering if Brenna was used to that as to why she didn't mind. Of course I think it's because she is a TRUE Cat Whisperer! |

| In the last picture you probably wonder why I am sending you a picture of just our bed. Look closer..... see the lump? I was lying down with Precious for a nap when I had gotten up and walked out of the room for only a minute. When I returned Precious was gone.... or so I thought! Then I saw the comforter move, Precious had burrowed herself under the covers! | ||||||||
| And she has the cutest ways to sleep. In the attached pictures you will find one where she has literally taken her paw and covered it across her eyes while sleeping. | ||||||||

| Thursday, April 24, 2008 We just finished up a 5 day visit by Brenna's cousin Kasey and our sister in law Shelley. Precious met Kasey for the first time.... and oh my did cat hair stand up and claws flew! Unfortunately Precious is SUCH a guard cat, that she felt like she needed to protect us and was after Kasey immediately! Notice the arched back and hair standing up in the first picture. We almost had to board Precious early at the kennel because she simply would not leave Kasey alone. And she would get in such a rage that she would then attack Brenna as well. She actually broke a claw off in Brenna's nose right under her left eye. Brenna was very luck. Her eye did goo up a bit the next day and I almost thought I was going to have to take her to the vet, but I kept it clean and it cleared up by day's end. |

| The picture of Precious in Michelle's lap is only special because Michelle is the ONLY lap Precious will sit in. I can't even get her to stay in my lap. But she jumps up in Michelle's lap all the time. She's a mamma's girl. That works out good for us, though, since Brenna is a daddy's girl. There has been only one true spat since Precious has been sharing the house with Brenna. Her first night she was sprawled out on our bed and Brenna was sprawled out sleeping next to her. Brenna roled over and accidentally kicked Precious. Precious just hauled off and sunk her teeth right into Brenna's ankle! Brenna almost took Precious's head off, but I grabbed her and held her back while Michelle calmed Precious down. So I told Michelle who was ready to beat Precious the next time she did that, if it happened again, just put Precious outside the bedroom and close the door and ignore her for a few minutes. She'll get the message that she has to share the bed with Brenna. Well, it wasn't two days later that Brenna jumped on the bed while Precious was already there and started hissing. Michelle immediately grabbed her and put her outside. Boy did that work! There hasn't been a single spat since! Anyway, we went to PetSmart yesterday to buy her some things and promptly left your gift card at home! So we are going to have to use it on the next visit. Thanks for that! |
