| Today, Brenna got to meet Michelle's newest piano student, a one month old baby! Michelle's student Rachel had a baby at Thanksgiving and we got to meet Ben today. She brought him with her to her first lesson back after having him. Brenna was sooooooooo good! And sooooooo curious! She sniffed and sniffed and ears a perked up every time Ben let out a noise. Brenna gave been several kisses on the hand and really seemed to understand that it was a miniature human to be gentle with. Brenna is so smart and good! See the attached pictures of Ben and mamma. | ||||||||||||

| Monday, December 31, 2007 We have been in Florida up until Saturday, and returned to find this box for Brenna. Boy did her whole body wag when we opened it!!! I guess she must have smelled Buddy's smells inside the box. See the attached picture to see her "attacking" promptly both bones at the same time! She would alternate between the little bone and big bone. We name all of her toys, as she actually knows all of her toys by name. We have dubbed these her "Buddy bone"! Boy was some one a GENIUS to think of making a bone into a ball?! We have taken the big one outside now and she loves to chase and chew it. Only thing I have to be careful of is that it is so hard that when I throw it I have to make sure that it doesn't hit her, but bounces a way. But it works quite well! |

| I went to see Brenna and her family in Montgomery, while they were on their way driving back from Florida. I also got to meet Colleen, Michelles sister. Brenna was happy to see me as usual, and she gave me some kisses. I bought a huge bag of pig ears from Costco, and had given Jake and Gracie and Tara some, but still had a lot left, and Tara eats them really slow, so I brought some along for Brenna too. Brenna sniffed it for a minute or two before she decided to eat it. She appeared to like it lot, but she ate some grass from the field behind the pagoda after we took a walk there after her family finished their lunch and before they started on the road again. It was so good to see Brenna again. Brenna did OK with the pigs ear. I could tell it did upset her stomach a tiny bit, but I am not sure if it was the pig ear as much as the volume she ate? She had a tiny bit of loose bowels the next morning from it, but that was it. She is eating just fine, so no worry there! I do want to find a way to chop that thing into smaller pieces before I give it to her that large a piece again. But she just LOVES them! So we do greatly appreciate that gift! Tuesday, January 1, 2008 We had a snow burst today that only lasted about 5 minutes, but it looked like we were standing at the North Pole with the way the 30mph winds and heavy snow was coming down! I took Brenna outside during this and she WENT NUTS running in circles and just LOVED IT! Of course, it was over in 5 minutes with barely a dusting. But it was pretty while it lasted. |
