Virginia also knitted some dog and cat dolls. The pattern was for a tabby, but Virginia changed the colors and used Anastasia�s photos as guide, and made a Snowshoe cat doll! It�s hard enough to find Siamese dolls, and I�ve never seen a Snowshoe one before, so this is certainly special. I showed Anastasia the doll, and she nipped and clawed it. |

Anastasia is a copy cat. She likes to follow Oscar around and claim Oscar�s favorite napping spots. Whenever Oscar finds a new spot, a few weeks later, Anastasia would start to like that spot too and start sleeping there. Then Oscar would have to find another new spot. One example is like this window seat board I put on my plastic dresser. I put it out for Oscar in August, because she loved it when she was living with Virginia, and she slept on it a lot after I put it on my dresser. Well, about a month later, I keep finding Anastasia sleeping on it now. |

I was browsing through the toothpaste aisle at Walmart, when I saw a Valentine�s Day toy that somebody had left on the shelf. I was attracted to it immediately because it�s shaped like a Springer. At first I wasn�t planning on buying it, because it�s $15, kind of expensive for a seasonal toy from Walmart. But I pressed on the button on its hand, and it starting singing Elvis� �I�m nothing but a hound dog�, with its head bobbing up and down and body twisting, really cute! So I just had to have it. When I got it home, Oscar was the first one coming up to check it out, as always. She was very curious when she saw it move for the first time, but by the second time she was bored by it and left. Then Anastasia came up and watched it play, just in time that I grabbed the camera. |

I went to the garage sale at Jeffers (a catalog pet supply company) in Dothan, and got this crinkle sack for 50 cents for the cats. Even though Anastasia loves grocery store paper bags, neither cats has shown much interest in it. |

I bought several new area rugs over Christmas break. One of them is placed in the kitchen, and Anastasia claimed it immediately. |
