| Vincent got to go to the beach! Leslie and her husband took their own dog and Vincent to vacation with them to the Outer Banks in North Carolina shores. Leslie said that Vincent is still a little scared of places where there are lots of strangers, like at the rest stop, but once they walked on the beach a little bit, he learned to enjoy it even with strangers around. | ||||||||||||
| Anastasia didn�t even notice that she was in the apartment, but Brenna did follow me around, and Sophie and she did see each other. Neither of them reacted to each other, which I was very surprised, because Sophie is an indoor cat and the only pet in her house, so she probably has never seen a dog this close before. Sophie was very good when I was blow drying her fur also. On Tuesday, when I took her to the vet (she goes to the same one as my animals do), he said she has a severe ear infection in her left ear, but her right ear looks a lot better. He said when he last saw her in September, he indicated left ear infection also, so this might be a chronic problem for her. He said right now there are so much ear wax in there that he can�t really see what�s going on inside. But he gave us some antifungal topical medication, he said it would also treat ear mites if she has it. He said for her left ear, he thinks there might be a growth (tumor) that is blocking the air flow, thus causing the ear infections. But he said he can�t do the surgery to remove the growth until her ear infection has cleared up. He also gave us some antibiotic tablets. Sophie was very good when I gave her the ear drops and tablets when we got back to her house. Her family came back on Wednesday, and they are willing to continue to treat her ears. | ||||||||||||

| Dr. Ravis installed a DVD player to thank me for dog sitting this summer. Anastasia loves to sleep in cardboard box, like this one for the DVD player. I had to carry her out of the box, because she liked it so much that she wouldn�t get out of it. | ||||||||||||
| Saturday, June 25, 2005 I got to dog-sit Samson for one day as his parents went out of town. It was pretty hot, so we only walked for about twenty minutes and stayed inside. Samson is still very interested in Anastasia, and spent half of his time staring at her. I�m sure he wished Brenna were here. |

| I found Anastasia sleeping on Jake�s bed after I came home from school. I�m still separating them when I�m not at home, because Jake is a little possessive of his toys against Anastasia, and I don�t think there�s enough room for her to get away from him when they are locked in the bedroom together. | ||||||||||||

| Anastasia likes dogs better than she likes other cats. See her on the Springer blanket. As of July 24, 2005, she is taking cyclosporine once every 15 days, and is taking Vitamin B complex, Vitamin C, and Manuka honey, each twice a day. She�s also getting psyllium powder once a week as hairball prevention. | ||||||||||||
