PART IV:  ESSAY
This essay is intended to provide you with an opportunity to demonstrate your composition skills and to provide the MCAS Yuma OSC Scholarship Committee with more information about you.  Please attach a 12-point, typed, double-spaced essay that answers the following three questions:   In addition to your coursework, what activities do you plan to participate in and how will they relate to your educational and professional goals?  How do you plan to employ your education and experience in your post-academic future?  Three (3) page maximum.

 

PART V:  LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION
Attach three (3) letters of recommendation from teachers, employers, or friends who you feel can comment on your character and potential for academic success.

The information on this application is correct.  I approve the release of information from my high school guidance counselor(s) to verify the information included on this application.  I understand that the funds from this scholarship, if awarded to me, will be sent directly to the school of my choice in my name, and that the school shall be directed to use the funds solely to defray the expenses of tuition, class fees, and books within the following academic year.  Proof of military eligibility will be requested before scholarship monies are awarded.  I further acknowledge that the decision of the MCAS Yuma OSC Scholarship Committee shall be FINAL.  Any unused monies will be credited to the next semester or returned to the MCAS Yuma OSC Scholarship Fund.
