| There's some destinies not very usual... The one of Thibault Durand is one of them. A way out of the ordinary paths, with traps, happy days. His life strangely looks like to a succession of deserved chances, of some little help of the destiny, these coincidences which happened only to the future "big"... Born in Seoul, inSouth Korea, 22 years ago, Thibault was adopted by a young couple a French, living in Paus, in 1985. He quickly succed to adpote the French culture by books, movies and of course songs.... Thibaut discovered Francis Cabrel, Michel Berger, Laurent Voulzy amoung others.. and fall in love of the French chansons. So he decided to join the music school of Pau, to learn solfege, and especially the guitar, his favourite music instrument. His voice is upsetting, shis charisma undienable, Thibaut succed to make you feel the meaning of his songs' lyrics. (end of the biography of his official website) Notice that "Un jour, je t'emm�nerai" is the second cd single of Thibault Durand, with lyrics from one of the most famous French author: Lionel Florence. That song officialy finished 2nd of the internal French preselection for the ESC 2003 (even if he was choosed on a first time but put only second when the channel France 3 discovered that he was discovered on the enemy channel TF1, of course this information is not official!!!). He was discovered on TF1 (a private French channel) in an emission called "R�ve d'un soir" (Dream of one night) where the people come to sing one song to realise their dream, without care of how they looks like. The first song of Thibault "Le jour J" (The day D) washad a good success, and now he's back with "Un jour, je t'emm�nerai". |
