Osan HH Teriyaki Chicken
(original recipe was from a friend of a friend in
Hawaii)

 

¾ C Soy Sauce

 

½ to ¾ C  Sugar (white or brown)

 

1 tsp Minced Garlic

 

1 tsp fresh grated Ginger

 

2 T Sesame Oil

 

2 T Sherry

 

Mix together sauce and pour over 4 # (lbs) Chicken pieces (Thighs with bone-in are good, but skinless boneless thighs or breasts are also good)

 

Marinate 4 hours, or overnight. 

 

Bake at 325 for approximately 1 hour…. Turn after 30 minutes if desired.  Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds if desired.
