November 11, 2000 The Wallflowers
Jakob Dylan, who is a leader of The Wallflowers, issued their
new album "Breach" on Sep 26, and they started a concert tour. "Breach" is the most splendid album of their three ones, but I felt little pop taste
music. (I like harder sounds.)
When the show started, I was surprised. They played many
songs from their 3rd album. The sound was heavy, the playing was dynamic,
and they kept high tension during the concert. The songs from their new
album were fantastic performances, inevitable "One Headlight" too.
I was pleased with their gig, the same as Jakob's father
who is Robert Allen Zimmerman.
