He has been doing solo albums for 33 years.
I've seen him with The E. Street Band several times,
but I had never been his solo live concert, so that was the first time
for me. |

He played acoustic guitar, electric guitar and
keyboard. I especially loved his slide guitar playing. The other three
members of the band were bass guitar, keyboard and drums. They played a
lot of songs from Nils's solo albums and also a Grin's number.
In the encore, Star Spangled Banner was played.
It was fabulous playing.
After the show, I went to the party in the chat room
behind the theatre and I saw him. He was very funny and friendly although
he must have been tired after the concert. |
