June 30, 2000 Joe Grushecky & The Houserockers
I went to small music club in New Jersey to see Joe Grushecky,
who was produced by Bruce Springsteen. Their album "American Babylon" is
a good American rock album.
When John Eddy played second fiddle, I went to a reception desk and bought
some CDs. I talked with a man there. He was a staff of Joe Grushecky. I
had a conversation with him, and he said to me "I will call Joe to
get an autograph from him". After a while, Joe came there and I took
a picture with him, in spite of the starting the show late.

The show was very exiting! At first Joe said, "Tonight, the people
came from Japan...". I was very glad. They played their number. In
the middle of the stage, the bass player fell down - maybe drugs? - and
he was taken away by the other band members. The encore number was Bruce's
"Light of Day". The show finished at 2:00AM.
