September 22, 2000 Brian Wilson
Brian Wilson, who was a leader of The Beach Boys, had a concert in Santa
Barbara County Bowl. I saw his concert in Tokyo last year, but he seemed
not fine. I was disappointed in his show. The night, he was so fine and
the concert was wonderful. He played "Your Imagination", "Love
& Mercy" and more songs from his solo album with Santa Barbara
Symphony, but more exiting songs were The Beach Boys' number as might have
been expected. These The Beach Boys' number were "California Girl",
"I Get Around", "Darlin'", "Good vibrations",
"All Summer Long" etc... He also played "Be My Baby"
which was The Ronetts' classic song. I was satisfied the first concert
of California.
