July 22:
Arrival at a resort in Eagle Plain on the Dempster Highway. The last 7 days on the Dempster Highway have been tough, tough, tough pedaling! The scenery on this part of the trip is incredible including flat stretches and even downhill stretches! It will be another 6 days until Inuvik. The gang will be glad once this trip is over!
Mishap : Jerry scraped himself and took a spill in a soft spot on the road going downhill, but he's fine.
Many thanks to the RV drivers who stopped and gave them fresh fruit and coffee or chocolate or on their way back from Inuvik dropped off some Vodka Coolers-those tasted great!!!

July 27:
Great news! Only 200 km to go to get to Inuvik! The gang stayed at a bed and breakfast in Fort MacPherson last night, so they are well rested and very excited for their final destination which will take approximately 2-3 days!

July 29:
THEY HAVE ARRIVED!!! The cycle journey is over...now to find a way to get back home! After a couple of days of sightseeing and doing the tourist thing, the gang will head back to Simpson and from there Lesly and Jerry will head to Winnipeg, some 6400 km between Inuvik and Winnipeg. Jerry and Lesly are never cycling again...although the best day for weather, wind, road conditions was yesterday!
