Montross Virginia Page #11.

Students and teachers gather in front of Montross School on May 28, 1923. This building shown here had opened for classes in 1919. It burned in 1930.

This was part of the cirriculum at Montross School during the 1920s. The agricultural building, in the background, was built next to the regular school in about 1923. It, too, burned in the 1930 fire.

This is the Westmoreland Motor Company which was located next door to the old Montross Movie and is now known as Southern Tire.
