There is always a beganing , A begaining for everything. Sometimes we do not even notice when things begain, because we are simply to busy with other things to notice.
Orutsu was not always his own maste and leader of his clan, He was much more than anyone thought. He was Shosuro Orutsu , a desendent from Shosuro's family line. His father was a Moto Okian from the Unicorn clan, his mother Shosuro Satsuko was an honored scorpion.
Their fate was a tempered one, forget all the other storys about them. For this is the true one. Satsuko met Okian on her jurny to the Unicorn lands to help bring the bond of understanding between them , and for other reasons that are for scorpion ears only. She was greeted by Okian on her arrival to Unicorn territory. He was a strong man and carried a raddiance about him that was not like most Unicorn. Although he was a great horseman he had far greater qualitys about him, although his most notable flaw was his fighting skill in singal combat.
Satsuko took in ever fine line to determine his strenghts and weeknesses. She observed him while he meddle on about his Clan. But she found herself wounder every now and then about him what was he like, what was he like. This often distracted her, his stricking looks and well mannard ......gentalness always caught her of guard.
This was fifteen years before the scorpion coup, and the clan had been measuring the other clans to see just how prepaird the other clans were and who they needed to pay attention to.
During her stay Satsuko learned much of Unicorn tactics from Okian. Okian even taught her things about horses that she never new, and he gave her a better understanding of them. Then he taught her how to ride like the wind of his clan. Satsuko was not the only one of the two who was gaining interest in the other. Okian kept finding himself in Satsuko's elegant grace and charm. Deep down they both started to love each other but could not admit it not now.
As Okian taught Satsuko about horses she tuaght him about the art of iajutsu. Okian quikly honed his skill with iajutsu under Satsuko's instruction.
In the end of her duty she was ordered to kill the one she found love with when Okian was put in charge of a caravan that was bound for Ostan-Uchi. It was a poetic duel that took place during that raining night of sorrow. Satsuko killed the one she loved, but she had been six weeks with child, and she told this to Okian before she killed him.
She keept the true father of her child a secret, no one would ever know her love for Okian, or that it was his child that she carried. This had to be done to ensure their safety.
