Main reasons I don't believe in Evolution
-
Violates common sense (more commonly know as the 2nd law of Thermodynamics, and, yes, I am aware of the counter to this; it leaves me cold).
-
Abiogenesis. Yeah, right.
-
Lack of convincing transitional forms, and, yes, I am aware of this guy.
-
Molecular data which caused Evolutionists to postulate the Molecular Clock Hypothesis.
I would like some day to present a formal presentation of this last objection, but it will require that
I learn Calculus and Statistics. Did I mention Genetics? In the meantime, a simplified way of looking at it is to imagine two populations
in both of which a given mutation occurs. Imagine that the lifespan of population A is 100 years while that of B
is 100 seconds. If the Theory of Evolution were true (and given the molecular data referred to above), then
this mutation would have to be transmitted throughout each population at the same rate with respect to absolute time. "That's bizarre", you
say? I agree; that's why it's on this list.
