| Moving Love
My lavishing beauty, How quaint you are, Sitting there so alone, Yet you are within my grasp. To see the wonders that bestow you, With a trifle little twinkle, Amazes me to the birth, Washing away all of your tears. Gaze upon the sky with your sweet smile, As the stars light up in your face, To wish upon a single star, And grasp the life of another. Sharing comes once in a lifetime, Wisdom is with those who know how to use it, Cherity is for the unfortunate, And thoughtfulness comes with delight. Be as true as you are, For the time is on your side, While patiently waiting in the distance, Comes your love from afar. Donald Horn Copyright 2004 Donald Horn |
| Nature's Walk
Feathers floating down from the sky, So free and so lite, Slowly drifting from one place to another to keep dry, Seeking a place in which to lite. Solitude and disopline, Brings peace and harmony, With no shackles to bind, Keeping it on its path in journey. Stealth and quietness, Allows it to become invisable, Without being noticed, Until it wants to be found. Many challenges befall the feathers, Sometimes leading them astray, But cleverness keeps them from harms way, To fall upon the land without endevor. Donald Horn Copyright 2004 Donald Horn |
| On A Very Special Day
In the time that we have shared together, Was the time that we have shown much growth, As we listen to the bickering of the other, We tend to excell in our growth. Trying not to depend to much on one's heart, As we try to keep from falling apart, Bringing forth much time for joy, As we sit and play with our toy's. Listen as the songbirds sing, For I wanted to give you this ring, But you said that just wanted to be left alone, Because you were still sore to the bone. When you are finished with your time of morn, I will be there to help you to be reborn, For the love of ones heart, Can never be kept apart. So I just want to wish you a very Happy Birthday, On this truly Joyous Earth Day. Donald Horn Copyright 2004 Donald Horn |
| Opera or Just Noise
Canary's singing in the background, Over the top of our discusion, Even though they sound so great, I often wish that they would be quieter. Music to my ears is quite revealing, As I try to understand their song, Almost sounding as though they were singing in the opera, Keeping your attention without even trying. If only we could turn their songs into words, I am sure that they would have much meaning, Letting everyone hear what they have to say, With beautiful tones that would ring out. Their songs are with harmonic balance of nature, Bringing forth the sounds that we need to hear, Challenging us to try and figure them out, As they sing throughout the day.
