| Tide Pools
Along the sea coast do I walk all by myself Looking all about me to see the many wonderful things I look deep into the tide pools that have been left behind And see the wonders that it holds Now you wouldn't think that life would exsist there But never the less life is in there Many little creatures such as small fish And little crabs playing among the sea urchins There are many different colored ones as well Not even being afraid of being eaten Because the pools are too small to hold a preditor And it leaves them free for the day Donald Horn Copyright 2004 Donald Horn |
| Time
As I watch the pebbles of time slip through the glass, It allows me to see what most cannot, Even though that time cannot stop,we often wish it could. With what time I have left in life, I wish to make a wonderful wish, To wish for enough time to spend with you. How often we forget that time can't be played with in a wasteful way, If we waste to much time, We will soon be to old to play. The time I wish to spend with you, Is time not enough, Time quickly flying by is leaving us in the dust. The time I have spent with you, Is a very joyous time for two. Love is the only thing that time doesn't pass by, If our love is as true as we say, Time alone will not pass us by. For our love in time will blossom into a beautiful flower, One that no one can pick or destroy, And that we will blossom forever more. Donald Edward Horn Copyright 2004 Donald Horn |
| To Linda
You have inspired me to write again, Telling me that I have much talent, Putting a smile on my face with a grin, Whispering in my ear to be valent. You hold me close to your heart, Not letting me go into the blue, With many days and nights we are apart, Holding us together without any glue. Sometimes you may cry, From wanting to be by my side, Yet as time goes on by, We waite until the time is right. When we are together once again, I will hold you as tight as I can, Not letting you go, So that your face will glow. From this day on the rise, I promise to waite for you, To look deep into your eyes, Only to say that I am in love with you. Donald Horn Copyright 2004 Donald Horn |
| To Love And To Hold
Whispers in the dark, As we walk in the park, Not knowing where we will go, As long as we are to grow. I hold you close to my heart, And not letting us fall apart, So that we may come to know, How the other seeks to show, Holding onto ones hand or arm, While talking with much charm, The night passes on by, As though we were to try, Looking into the future, And hoping to be mature. For we are here to stay, With much love holding us at bay. Donald Horn Copyright 2004 Donald Horn |
