Background: Born 1967 in Sydney , Australia. Grew up on the south side during an uneventful childhood. After high school seemed unable to find a definite goal in life and only half-heartedly studied resulting in a very average degree, casting about for a career joined the Federal Police in 1988 and instantly knew he had found his niche in life. Snowy has an almost overdeveloped sense of right and wrong, he soon developed a reputation for being somewhat over-zealous which may explain for his rapid transfer out of the Customs Section. When a position in UNFICYP came up, Snowy bartered his meagre store of university Greek into a position, Cypress was a maturing phase for Snowy, caught between three or four warring factions, none of which were about to listen to foreign police officers. The situation was only made worse when Turkey invaded in 1997, all the UN troops were pulled out and sent to a temporary facility at Heidelburg, Gemany. Ostensibly, this move was only until the official approval could be sought through worsening global communications from France, until then unengaged and still largely intact, for a transfer across the border and out of Europe using a French port. Living on what was in fact American largesse in a hard pressed country, all of the "Australian, New Zealand and Southern Pacific Nations" troops felt a deep need to do something more than just sit in a camp and use up rations, after repeated requests from the various commanders in the base cautious UN approval was given to begin rear area security duties, at the same time Australasian and South Pacific citizens trapped in Europe were directed to the Heidelburg camp for eventual evacuation home.
This left Snowy in a bit of a quandary as he was totally untrained for policing in a military environment, He was still struggling not to get himself and everyone else killed when the French finally settled the question of using french ports by invading the Ruhr valley and in the process encountered the UN ANZaSPN enclave. At first French and UN troops kept a cautious distance, but a nasty incident between a Tongan patrol and a French unit soon had the French troops surging forward as the UN troops fell back as fast as they could, two of Snowy's best friends died at a bridge near Eberbach as they're MP unit was overrun and Snowy will never forgive the French for what he see's as their betrayal, up until a week before the French invasion most UN troops still thought they'd be evacuated through Bordeaux.
During the retreat down highway 50, Snowy saw his first large unit action and was wounded in the right thigh, making it to the interim camp at Augsberg in a field ambulance. Over the next two years the 24th Panzergrenadiers at nearby Nurnburg adopted the strange little UN unit and due to the complete breakdown of international communication in 1999, incorporated them into the 1 German Corps command structure.
Snowy's MP unit has been broken up and he is now serving as a rifleman, he has developed an overwhelming dislike for marauder's, "Militia" and bandits which in his words "are only feeding of everyone's elses misery."
