Background: Named for his grandfather, Aldo senior, Aldo lead a fairly straight forward life. His early life in Chicago was normal, and he joined the Army soon after graduation. Aldo found he enjoyed helping people more than he liked killing them, so when the opportunity presented itself he opted for the Medical corps. He has spent years in the field helping his comrades in combat, and looking after them and their families in times of peace.

He married a young office worker, Gabriel, in 1984 and they have been married happily since. When Aldo was assigned to Germany in the late 90s', Gabriel happily joined him for what should have been his twilight tour.

They took advantage of the post in Germany, and traveled throughout Europe whenever they had the chance. Aldo made good use of the Italian he was taught by his grandfather, and visited his family ties in Italy. His retirement would be postponed due to the war. He worries over his wife's safety and can not wait until he is near her again. His great hope is that she is ok and has been taken care of, or that she was moved by the military to a safe place.
