Meet Aphrodite!
Pictures comming soon.

Aphrodite was the first rattery rat I ever had the pleasure of owning. She came from the Pack Rats Rattery and I first met her when she was only 4 weeks old and so tiny! She was my little baby, a mismarked fawn hooded dumbo rex. Her odd domb shaped head and curly hair really added to her personality! Her disposition was so gentle that when she put her paws on your hands you'd barely feel it. And if you stuck your fingers in her cage she'd lick them happily and her bright pink eyes would look at you with such unconditional love. Aphrodite before reaching home first took a trip to a Mc Donald's restroom. I will always remember her and her adventures!

Her best buddy in the whole world was Venus, whom was my first female. When Venus died in November of 2000 Aphrodite fell in deep despare. Lonely and depresed even new cagemates couldn't cheer her up. She was never as happy and bouncy as the little rat I once knew after that. A few months later in June of 2001 she died, although the vets will tell you it was caused by a respitory infection that treatment wasn't working on only I will know the truth- she died because she no longer had the will to live without Venus.

I will miss Aphrodite and her delicate ways forever.. A cute little rat dwarfed in size but big in heart. She truely was named well!
