We are alone in our love
  Sometimes we understand
The rituals for living
  The woman and the man
Dancing towards the darkness
  To visions pure and strong
In twilight´s shadowing beauty
  Where screams turn into song

When Reason struggles to adapt
  Intuition works alone
Do you hear the voices of God
  Aren’t they the same as your own?
We´re next year´s ghosts and children
  We know we´ll soon be gone
And in divine indifference
  The universe will look on

Sunrise over unclean Eden
  Poison is part of the cure
We are running now to get between
  The light and the closing door
And we´ll walk a winter´s desert
  As masters of all we see
 Starve for our life in the longing
  In the seconds while we´re free

So now we pray to each other
 As the night fades into the day
We are only one evolution
  Why do we stand in our way?
This is only an evolution
  And the world will turn away...
