IMPROVISATION 2002
Lucky for me
She likes men with glasses
My hands and smile, ‘individual’
Loves my name and endless hair
Wants to know if I think she’s crazy
Possibly yes
If she likes the glasses
She’s paranoid enough
To ask testing questions
And ‘as a listener’
She loves my ‘music’
So of course
Now I am LOST
(Both as mad as the other
With a lifetime to improvise
If we get what we want
I am sure we will compromise)
I journey far behind her eyes
And despite my cautious fear
Welcome her deep
Within my heart
For every doubt
To disappear
(All things start
With inspiration
Too fast to measure in time
Improvisations to adapt
Chaos to a cycle
Of turning rhyme)
/// For M, started in November 2002, still Unfinished.
First‘ realistic‘ chance of marriage and now, as of October 2003,
I am older but still stupid. I was very wrong.
She was on the rebound and I was just a bounder, ha ha.
The last verse was taken from a conversation with her when I was on a
roll/role.
I still sort of miss her, dammit.///
