| Orpheus is a four piece girl band from Lakewood, ny. The members include: Megan (lead vocals/guitar), Jessica (bass guitar), Marie (lead guitar), and Julianne (drums/backup vocals/guitar). The four members have been a band since around March 2001, and since have been working on both cover and original songs. One previous event for Orpheus was a battle of the bands sponsored by the much loved by Orpheus 106.9 kiss fm and Nightline, in which they took home a first place plaque. Their victory was said to be for creativity and originality. Orpheus' drummer, Julianne, also played her original song "To the Stars" live on kiss fm as a result of winning the battle of the bands. Their name has also apeared on tv in pure coincidence more than once! Orpheus' hopes for the future are to write good music, be famous ;-), and to ROCK ON!!!! |
