Andy is our second comissioned composer. He is a native of Mission, Texas and a graduate of Sharyland High School. He graduated from Baylor in 2006 with a Bachelor of Music in Composition and will be attending the University of North Texas in the fall to study composition. Andy played horn with the Baylor Wind Ensemble and the Baylor Symphony Orchestra. Among the pieces performed in his senior composition recital were the Dance Quintet written for the quintet and a piece for string quintet entitled 'Variations on a theme by Korn.' Andy is a former horn student of Mr. Jeffery Powers and a composition student of Dr. Scott McAllister.
