Lai is the Tower of Fang's Seer. In the original series he is a mysterious man, always cloaked over, holding his crystal ball. His hair is also a brighter green. Revenge sees a slightly different Lai, his hair is a dark aqua and he is no longer cloaked. Lai is a member of the small team investigating the monsters, sadly he is not given the amount of screen time he enjoyed in Majutsushi Orphen.
It appears she is leading the investigation of the monsters plaguing Orphen. Though her name is not mentioned, she does identify Orphen as her younger brother as she was a good friend to he and Hartia in their younger days, and also a tormenter of sorts. Azalea and she shared a deep rivalry in their days as students. Now that Tish is a woman she would prefer to live a normal life.
And we all thought Flameheart was bad...you aint seen nothing yet! Not only is he as much a mama's boy as Flameheart was, he is somewhat of a fruitcake (he wears a frilly outfit and high heeled boots for goodness sake!) and infatuated with his brother (I suspect he was in love with him). Flamesoul seeks revenge against Orphen for the death of his brother and vegetable state of his mother (I know, I thought she was dead too...). Flamesoul uses animals to transform into monsters thanks to the technology given to him by an old man.
Esperanza is a quiet, myserious woman who watches over Orphen and his friends. From afar she weaves a spell on her piano, humming along to the tune. Esperanza is working with her father for a reason and goal they keep to themselves. She is responsible for the death of Flamesoul, who dared to attack someone important to her. Esperanza is a talented foe, who is also known for helping out the heroes every now and then.
