Lot 105   這是blur在英國最成功的一張大碟, 1994全英國的no.1, 成為1990年代中期的經曲, 並為一系列的Britpop樂隊(著名者為pulp, oasis)開啟了門戶, 為Britpop音樂定位; 諷刺的是, 後來Oasis在大碟銷量戰中以What's the Story打敗了blur的Great Escape, 自96年起blur便轉型了.   Parklife亦是最多歌曲入選Blur : the best of的大碟, 全碟都舒服好聽, 不過給我的感覺是某些歌曲的對比比較大, 因為碟中有不少hit single, 自然免不了某些商業之作, 但除那之外碟中有不少極具性格和活力的作品 - Tracy Jacks的guitar riff一聽便令人愛上, End of a Century為melody上佳之作, Parklife的"講波式"rap talk和chorus聽後印象極深, Badhead是超超超舒服的作品(也試試Modern life is rubbish的Blue Jeans啊 :D), Trouble in the Message Center是首fast rock, Clover over Dover的guitar solo動人無比. 在音樂外, 還要留意一下歌詞!(唉...不過那本歌詞集沒有歌詞呢...) 主音加首腦的Damon以此碟歌曲描寫英國90年代中期的生活, 碟評都說與現實極為吻合哩! 所以blur除了歌曲外, 連歌詞也憾動人心.   如果你想試一試blur的音樂, 我建議你先買Parklife, 喜歡的話再買Modern life is Rubbish吧! 推介歌曲 : Tracy Jacks, End of a century, Parklife, Badhead, Clover over Dover
