A tribute to the Seattle Police Department
It is hard for me to fathom how the point of the above selection is so blatantly missed.  I don't know how many people have been offended by these stickers appearing around town.  The commonly asked question is "Are you some kind of nazi?"  Come on, people!   My anti-police attitude began long ago and was significantly escalated during the W.T.O. protests and the ensuing riots. I was walking home from work on December 1, 1999.  I was heading down Broadway, near the Seattle Community College.  People were walking around, going about the daily routine, when suddenly a group of thirty or more riot-clad officers began attacking civilians.  They were running directly at us firing tear gas canisters and rubber bullets.  Naturally, I started running the other way.  I ran from these officers for about five blocks.  I finally stopped behind the Taco Bell on Broadway.  At this point many citizens (about four hundred) had left their houses, screaming at the police to leave the neighborhood.    My fury erupted when I witnessed a man being beaten by two officers behind the taco bell.  He was standing about ten feet in front of them, calmly asking why they were in the neighborhood, and what right they had to be in the area, considering the no-protest zone was declared in downtown Seattle.  Suddenly he was knocked to the ground from behind by an officer that had crept around from the side of the Taco Bell.  Another officer then broke away from the line they had formed in the road.
