| WORK BEE WEDNESDAY JULY 16, 2008 6:00 - 9:00 PM |
| Please make every effort to attend Workbee night to help set up the goat area (parents as well as exhibitors). We will need drills with sockets or socket wrenches, Hammers, nails (for repairing old pens) . There are milk stands to be set up and cleaned. The sink near the milking area will need to be cleaned and the milking pad will need to be cleaned. So please lend a hand in cleaning and setting up the goat area. Thanks to all the people that helped out last year. A word about bringing in large equipment/tack. If you intend on bringing a milkstand (depending on space availability), it should brought the night of workbee and it should be cleaned and disinfected before it is brought. If it is not the milkstand will not be allowed to stay. Anything else can be brought in after the barns have been sprayed. Keep in mind space for tack maybe limited. There may be one or two tack areas for all exhibitors (depending on space). Any wheelbarrows, pitchforks or rakes should be clean (they don't have to be new, just clean) before bringing, make sure you mark all items that you bring and if you have a tack box, put a lock on it. Place check with the Superintendent on workbee night to let them know about any changes in classes as the show program needs to be printed up by then. Thank you in advance for all your hard work. |
