Here is some of the terminology used at the Central Florida Martial Arts Academy. As our basis is in Choi Kwang-Do, a Korean martial art, the vast majority of these words are Korean. Remember, there is no need to actually have knowledge of these phrases' translations; however, if you should ever become curious as to what everything means, this guide should help.

Korean term meaning �Uniform�.

Korean term meaning �Belt�.

Dojang

Korean term meaning �Training Hall�. Refers to a KMAI school.

Charriot

Pronounced �Chaddiot�. Korean term meaning �Stand at Attention�.

Kung Yae

Korean term meaning �Bow�.

Diro Dora

Pronounced �Dido Doda�. Korean term meaning �Turn Around�.

Sejock

Korean term meaning �Begin�.

Gomon

Korean term meaning �Stop�.

Chumbi

Korean term meaning �Ready Stance�.

Puro

Pronounced �Pudo�. Korean term meaning �Return to Attention�. Commonly also used to mean (technically incorrect) �Relax�.
