Ms. Sarah Ikegami

Ms. (Kyosanim) Sarah Ikegami, Assistant Instructor

Sarah Ikegami, age 17, is a junior on the Dean�s List at The Geneva School in Winter Park.  Sarah is very involved in music, playing oboe in several local orchestras, and also performing in piano for several years.  Sarah is known for her unique art talent, and has won many awards and participated in many local art shows. She spent several years volunteering in the community through Girl Scouts and the National Honor Society, and finds that her real passion is teaching and helping children.

 Sarah has always had a passion for learning about other cultures and languages, including that of her own Japanese heritage.  This, and the desire to learn self-defense, prompted her to join the Central Florida Martial Arts Academy with her brother Michael in the summer of 2007.  Since then she has taken part in virtually every opportunity and has blossomed as a real natural martial artist. She is now finding that she can combine her love of children and teaching with her new talent, and enjoys teaching at CFMAA very much.
