Student Rules

These are rules that are in place for students at the Central Florida Martial Arts Academy. These rules are to help everyone achieve the most out of their education in the martial arts with us, as well as promoting a safe, relaxed, and secure atmosphere. Primarily, these rules are for children and written for children, however in general they apply to everyone. If you have any questions, please call 407-767-5500.

  1. Refer to all Instructors as �Mr.� or �Miss�, and say �Sir� or �Ma�am�.

  2. No shoes, socks, or jewelry allowed on the mat (except approved footwear).

  3. Bow before entering/ leaving the mat.

  4. No rough housing allowed; if you are using gear, an instructor must be present.

  5. Raise hand before interrupting an instructor.

  6. Do not use the focus mitts, air shields, bags, or any other training gear without an instructor�s permission.

  7. Do not face the flags or an instructor when fixing a dobok or di.

  8. Belts should NOT touch the ground, nor are they to be used as toys!

  9. If you cry or complain, you may be asked to sit out of class.

  10. No playing on the mat unless you are in class during a game.

  11. Do not enter the office or store room without permission.

  12. No cursing, �rough talk�, or insulting other students in class.
