Central Florida Martial Arts Academy has the answer. For a price comparable, if not better than, traditional pick-up day care centers, we have a program that transports children from their school to our dojang. There, they will have structured activities, time for snacks* and homework, as well as a daily, hour long martial arts lesson, providing the benefits of physical fitness, structured lessons in discipline, and, of course, fun! And, with CFMAA offering transportation from 7 elementary schools and 2 middle schools from the surrounding areas, chances are your child or children will be able to take advantage of this great opportunity. The children are picked up immediately following school dismissal and brought to our dojang. The martial arts class for elementary children runs from 3:30 until 4:30 pm, giving a full hour of martial arts education, while also providing time beforehand to socialize, work on homework, burn of energy- whatever it is each child has a particular need for. The martial arts class for middle school children varies throughout the week, but always offers one full hour; see our schedule for more information. Afterwards children are given quiet study time to finish homework until 6:00 pm, allowing them the chance to go home and share with family rather than having school work taking up such quality time.
