No matter what your size,
gender, physical ability, or age (15+) may be you are welcome to take our
adult's
classes! Our classes focus on three main principles-
Self Defense, Healthy Fitness,
and Personal Development. Our
self defense training is mixed martial arts in that we prepare for
situations on your feet, in close range situations, and on the ground; we do
not, however, prepare anyone or teach classes in a manner intended for use in
sport, be it tournament or octagon. Every aspect of the adult's classes is meant
to prepare yourself for any self-defense situation; and the confidence that this
builds is something that you will carry with you in all aspects of your life.
And while our first focus is self-defense, we also learn healthy techniques
in an fast-paced environment that
build strong bones, joints, and muscles, and the rigorous training will help you
get in or stay in shape. The techniques we teach build from the ground up, using
the entire body, therefore those of smaller stature (such as women and children)
can use the techniques to generate enough power to bring down much larger
opponents. Our curriculum was also developed with a holistic concept in mind,
and is great for the elderly and those with previous injuries from surgery,
sports injury, and other ailments. There are several sets of classes for your
convenience; please check our
schedule to see class times.
All classes fall under the same program: pricing covers whichever
classes you can attend (for example, you may mix and match day, night, and late
night classes
to suit your schedule), and
the structure is almost entirely the same. It is suggested that you plan to
attend class at least twice a week. Please
contact us for more information. We also offer
private classes as they are available, please see or
contact us for more information on
these.
